While in Latvia, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal met with members of the Saeima led by Speaker Daiga Mierinejū to discuss support for Ukraine. Shmyhal wrote about this on his page on the social network X, UNN reports.
Comprehensive support for Ukraine was discussed with members of the Sejm. I thanked them for their assistance in Ukraine's integration into the EU and NATO. We appreciate Latvia's initiative to launch grant programs for joint ventures. We also discussed the importance of banning imports of agricultural products from Russia to the EU. We must jointly counter russian terrorism
The Prime Minister also thanked Latvia for its support, military and financial assistance.

Today, Denys Shmyhal arrived in Latvia, where he met with Latvian Prime Minister Eвіка Silina. The parties discussed the issue of giving a new impetus to the organization of a new joint production of 155-mm shells, as well as the launch of joint production of drones for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the possibility of strengthening anti-russian sanctions.
