People's Deputy Dmytro Solomchuk predicts further growth in food prices due to poor harvests in the world. Ukrainian exports have grown by 5-7% in recent months, but this does not compensate for global crop losses.

Due to drought and crop failure around the world, prices will continue to rise, despite the growth of Ukrainian exports. This was stated by MP and member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Agrarian and Land Policy Dmytro Solomchuk during a briefing, UNN reports .

Due to poor harvests around the world, we see that prices will rise. We are already seeing prices that are much higher than last year's: for wheat, rapeseed and other crops

- Solomchuk says.

According to him, over the past 3-4 months, Ukraine's exports have increased by 5-7% compared to last year, thanks to Odesa ports.

Exports through the western borders have decreased many times compared to the beginning of the full-scale invasion

- He says.
