In Kyiv, police held two drivers accountable for repeatedly violating traffic rules in the capital; their vehicles were sent to an impound lot. This was reported by UNN with reference to the First Deputy Head of the Patrol Police Department, Oleksiy Biloshytskyi.

According to law enforcement, one of the drivers in a Range Rover organized "races" through the central streets of the capital and bragged about his "achievements" on social media.
Another driver in a BMW also drove through the central streets of the capital, violating traffic rules and creating a hazardous situation for other road users while demonstrating drifting.
Police promptly identified both offenders and filed the relevant administrative materials against them.
Furthermore, during the vehicle inspections, signs of an offense under Article 290 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Destruction, forgery, or replacement of vehicle unit and component numbers) were discovered. An investigative-operational group of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kyiv was called to the scene. The cars were evacuated to an impound lot, and the information was entered into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations under Article 290.
Thus, the offenders face a fine of 150 to 250 tax-free minimum incomes of citizens, or correctional labor for a term of up to two years, or restriction of liberty for a term of up to three years.
