A criminal proceeding has been opened into the death under Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (premeditated murder). Currently, police are conducting investigative actions under the procedural supervision of the Specialized Prosecutor's Office in the field of defense of the Eastern Region.
Earlier, the Operational Command "South" reported the death of the commander of the 154th separate mechanized brigade, Volodymyr Kononnikov, noting that the circumstances of his death are being clarified.
