The occupiers have nothing to replace the russian ferry slavyanin in the port of kavkaz, which was hit by Ukraine, so they may try to increase the load on the Crimean bridge to meet their logistical needs. This was stated by the spokesman of the Ukrainian Navy Dmytro Pletenchuk during a telethon, UNN reports.
There is nothing to replace the ferry, because it was actually the last ferry in the Azov-Black Sea region. Theoretically, they may try to bring something from somewhere else, but so far there is no information on this. Of course, they will still have stocks for some time by inertia. They will probably try to increase the load on the bridge. But there is no full-fledged replacement in sight
Recall
On July 23, the Ukrainian Navy, together with other units of the Defense Forces, severely damaged the enemy ferry slavyanin, which was used for military purposes, in the port of kavkaz. This is the third and last railroad ferry that russia had in the region.
As pointed out by British intelligence, Ukraine's destruction of the russian ferry slavyanin will create additional logistical problems for russia in supplying the occupation forces in southern Ukraine and exporting liquefied petroleum gas.
Earlier, Pletenchuk statedthat the slavyanin ferry was supplying the occupation groups on the peninsula and in southern Ukraine. After the vessel was damaged, the Azov Sea was free of russian warships.
