The US Department of Defense predicts greater losses of DPRK military in Russia's war against Ukraine, Pentagon spokesman Pat Ryder said at a briefing on Thursday, UNN reports.

"We continue to observe and assess, I would say at this stage it's our assessment that several hundred DPRK forces have been or several hundred casualties, right, which would range from killed in action to wounded. I'm not going to have a breakdown for you in terms of KIA versus wounded, but several hundred have. And as they engage in combat with the Russians, you know, we certainly would anticipate that those numbers will go up," Ryder said.
