President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that over the past three days, the Ukrainian military has been particularly effective in replenishing the exchange fund, UNN reports.
"... I would like to thank our soldiers and our units who ensure the replenishment of the exchange fund - they take the occupier prisoner and thus help to free our people from Russian captivity. This is extremely important and has been particularly effective over the past three days. We have to return freedom to all our people who are now in Russian captivity," Zelensky said.
At the same time, the President of Ukraine did not specify which of the areas was replenished with the exchange fund.
Recently, Telegram channels reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces managed to take a large number of prisoners on the territory of Russia. However, this information has not yet been officially confirmed.
