Russians continue the militarization of Ukrainian children in the temporarily occupied territories. This was reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (CCD), informs UNN.
Details
It is noted that this time the propagandists organized an exhibition of drawings by children from the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson region in the Moscow region. All 15 works were dedicated to military themes.
Propagandists present this as a cultural event, hiding behind "care and support for young authors," while silencing the root cause of why children are now forced to only dream of a peaceful future, living in conditions of war.
They remind that this is not the first case of Russia militarizing children in the occupied Ukrainian territories, preparing a new generation for war. Earlier, it was reported about a large-scale propaganda campaign in Mariupol schools involving the Russian occupation forces and Russian Orthodox Church priests with the aim of re-educating children from the temporarily occupied territories, forming their loyalty to the occupation regime.
"By actively involving children in propaganda military actions, the Kremlin seeks to turn Ukrainian children into a resource for continuing the war, forcing them to perceive war as a norm of life," the CCD summarizes.
Recall
In Russia, kindergartens have started holding meetings during which children are told about service in unmanned systems troops and shown drones. Such events are presented as educational.
