The State of New York has declared November as a month of remembrance of the Holodomor in Ukraine in 1932-33. This was announced by Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Oksana Markarova, according to UNN.
The document also confirms the previous decision of the state to recognize the Holodomor as genocide of the Ukrainian people.
