During the first four months of 2026, the National Agency on Corruption Prevention completed 278 full audits of declarations selected based on a risk-oriented approach. Signs of inaccurate information totaling over UAH 1.244 billion were identified in 170 declarations. This was reported by the NACP, according to UNN.
Violations were found in almost all audited declarations
According to the NACP, violations were established in 277 out of the 278 audited declarations.
In particular:
- signs of inaccurate information totaling over UAH 1.244 billion were found in 170 declarations;
- signs of illicit enrichment totaling over UAH 68 million were established in four declarations;
- signs of unjustified assets totaling over UAH 16 million were found in three declarations.
Over 150 findings were forwarded to law enforcement agencies
The NACP reported that since the beginning of 2026, the agency has sent 155 substantiated findings to the competent authorities.
Of these:
- 102 – under Art. 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine regarding inaccurate information;
- 3 – under Art. 368-5 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine regarding illicit enrichment;
- 50 – under the elements of Part 4 of Art. 172-6 of the Code of Administrative Offenses.
Dozens of criminal proceedings have been initiated
Based on the results of the NACP's findings, law enforcement officers have already initiated 74 criminal proceedings.
Materials from another 14 audits were added to previously opened criminal proceedings.
The NACP also reported that detailed information regarding declarations with the largest amounts of discrepancies, court decisions, as well as statistics on violations by region and by the officials' fields of activity, has been published on the agency's website.
