A mysterious drone crashed in the city of Samsun on Turkey's Black Sea coast at dawn, reports Türkiye Today, according to UNN.

"An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) crashed into a building in the Kazim Karabekir neighborhood of the Ilkadim district in Samsun at approximately 6:30 a.m. (local time) on Saturday," the report states.
As noted, at least three houses were damaged, and the incident caused brief panic among local residents, who initially mistook the impact for a natural gas explosion.
No casualties have been reported.
Police, firefighters, and emergency rescue services were dispatched to the scene following reports from citizens.
"Officers secured the area and collected the scattered components of the drone. The device, described as weighing approximately 25 kilograms with a wingspan of about 1 meter and a separate tail unit, fits the profile of a small fixed-wing reconnaissance drone," the publication points out.
The wreckage was taken to law enforcement facilities for technical examination.
Turkish authorities have not yet confirmed who owns the device, where it came from, or why it lost control. Investigators stated that the ownership of the drone and the cause of the crash will be determined after the technical inspection.
