The Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) claims that its employees do not use cars with cover numbers while working. However, as is often the case, words and reality may differ, UNN writes.

Context

Earlier it became knownthat ARMA employees came to inspect the assets of the Gulliver shopping center in a gray BMW X5 with license plate KA1614RT. As it turned out, this license plate was not registered in the MIA databases, which indicates that the ARMA officers used cover plates.

In response to UNN's request , ARMA stated that this had never happened.

"ARMA employees do not use vehicles with license plates that are not provided for by the current legislation of Ukraine while performing their duties. This also applies to the so-called "cover numbers" - a term whose meaning is absent in the legal field, but which is mentioned in your request," ARMA states in response to UNN's request .

In addition, the ARMA asked UNN to use verified sources that provide reliable information when preparing materials. Thus hinting that the journalists of UNN use unverified sources.

Therefore, we are publishing the videos available to UNN , which confirm that ARMA employees came to inspect the assets of the capital's shopping center in the above-mentioned car and with these license plates.

In particular, the head of the Central Interregional Territorial Department of the ARMA, Mykola Pozhydaev, and his colleague, Yehor Bereznitsky, arrived in a car with non-existent license plates. According to the declaration filed , Pozhidayev owns a 2016 BMW X5.

This behavior of ARMA employees raises many questions, because the use of cover numbers is allowed only to operational units of law enforcement agencies, which the Asset Recovery and Management Agency definitely does not belong to. Even more questions arise from the fact that ARMA is trying to mislead journalists.

It can be assumed that the head of the agency, Olena Duma, who calls herself "ARMA's mother," did not follow up, and her subordinate "detectives" went to search for the Gulliver in a car with cover numbers without her permission. What kind of "ARMA mom" is she after that?

Of course, ARMA can claim to be transparent as much as it wants, but the facts speak for themselves. The use of cover numbers looks like an attempt to act covertly, which does not indicate transparency and openness in their work. A logical question arises: why would an agency that is supposed to work within the law use such tricks? Is it just an "innocent" misunderstanding or a deliberate attempt to conceal its activities?

Recall

The head of the ARMA, Olena Duma , reported that the agency's employees had thoroughly inspected the Gulliver Business Complex. However, a video she posted on her Telegram channel shows a group of men walking from one office to another and admiring the view from the window of the capital's complex.
