In addition to two Sandown-class ships, Britain and Norway will provide Ukraine with 20 Viking amphibious assault ships and 23 speedboats as part of the "maritime coalition." This is stated in a statement of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, reports UNN.

It is noted that in this way Ukraine will receive:
- 2 Sandown demining ships;
- 20 Viking armored amphibious vehicles;
- 23 speedboats.

Earlier UNN reported that the UK would provide Ukraine with two Sandown-class minesweepers and form a new naval coalition with Norway to strengthen Ukraine's security in the Black Sea.

Meanwhile, the Norwegian Defense Ministry saidthat a ceremony to present the creation of the coalition will take place today in London. Norwegian Defense Minister Bjørn Arild Gram will also attend.

Ukraine is working on a new modification of the Neptune missile, which hit the cruiser Moskva last April. Details of the missile's technical characteristics have not been disclosed.
