The Cabinet of Ministers appointed the First Deputy Head of the National Police of Ukraine, Maksym Tsutskiridze, as the acting head of the National Police. This was reported by the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Taras Melnychuk, as reported by UNN.

Police General of the 2nd rank Maksym Tsutskiridze was born on September 22, 1985, in Novoukrainka, Kirovohrad region.
He began his career in 2006 as an inquiry officer of the Leninskyi District Police Department of the Kirovohrad City Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Kirovohrad region.
From November 2006 to October 2007 – student at the Kyiv National University of Internal Affairs.
From October 2007 to November 2007 – senior investigator of the Leninskyi District Police Department of the Kirovohrad City Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Kirovohrad region.
