French President Emmanuel Macron made a statement about sending troops to Ukraine and emphasized that "France is a force for peace," reports UNN.
Believing that the war in Ukraine is "existential for our Europe and for France," Macron stated that "we will never go on the offensive, we will never take the initiative." He continued by saying that "France is a force for peace.
"Today, in order to have peace in Ukraine, we must not be weak, and therefore we must look at the situation consciously and we must say with determination, will, courage that we are ready to achieve the means to achieve our goal, which is that Russia will not win," the French president added.
"Peace is not the surrender of Ukraine," Emmanuel Macron insisted.
"Do you think the Poles, Lithuanians, Estonians, Romanians, Bulgarians could stay in peace for a second (if Russia wins in Ukraine)?" asks Emmanuel Macron, for whom "if Russia wins this war, the credibility of Europe will be reduced to zero.
According to Macron, "we will no longer have security" in Europe if Russia "wins" in Ukraine.
