Recall
Lukashenko claimed that on August 9, air defense systems shot down several targets, presumably drones, over the territory of Belarus. According to him, they came from Ukraine, but he did not provide evidence.
Belarusian Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin has since stated that Belarus is reinforcing troop groups in areas near the border with Ukraine, including sending Iskanders and MLRSs.
The State Border Guard Service does not rule out that Belarus will most likely be forced to move equipment and personnel in order to create the impression that this is happening. Most likely, if this happens or is happening, it will go deep into the territory of Belarus.
