The fate of the spot in the third qualifying round was decided by a penalty shootout, in which the players of "Gent" proved more accurate. In one of the episodes, the Belgians were saved by goalkeeper Tom Rof, and another shot by LNZ player Denys Kuzyk hit the crossbar.
