A large-scale road traffic accident occurred in the Vinnytsia region on June 4. Three passenger cars and one truck collided on the Lvivske Highway. As a result of the accident, the driver of one of the cars was killed, UNN reports with reference to the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Vinnytsia Region and the Main Department of the National Police of Ukraine in the Vinnytsia Region.

Six more people, including two children, were injured. The victims were hospitalized, the State Emergency Service stated.
Rescuers extricated the body of the deceased from the car and took measures to prevent a fire. Meanwhile, according to the police, the tragedy occurred on June 4 at around 7:00 PM.
As the investigation established, the 38-year-old driver of a Ford vehicle, while under the influence of alcohol, collided with a Renault minibus traveling ahead of him.
As a result of the impact, the minibus veered into the oncoming lane, where it collided with a Volkswagen. Following this, another collision occurred with a Mazda. As a result of the accident, the 40-year-old driver of the Volkswagen died at the scene. His passengers, including two minor children and a 41-year-old woman, sustained injuries and were hospitalized,
It is also reported that the 35-year-old driver and passenger of the minibus, as well as the 22-year-old driver of the Mazda, sustained injuries. All victims were taken to medical facilities, law enforcement agencies added.
