"It was a terrible night for Kyiv. The most massive enemy attack — the capital was hit with ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and UAVs," the mayor wrote.

The residential building in the Darnytskyi district suffered the most destruction. Part of the building was literally blown away. A search and rescue operation is ongoing there. People are being searched for under the rubble. Including a 15-year-old girl and her family,
"In total, as of now, 13 dead and almost 90 injured are known," he noted. "At the ambulance substation, whose building was also damaged, 9 ambulances were also damaged. 6 station employees — medics and drivers — were injured."
"Tomorrow, July 3, has been declared a Day of Mourning in Kyiv. In memory of the victims of the most massive enemy attack on the capital," Klitschko reported.
On this day, flags will be lowered on all municipal buildings of the city. It is also recommended to lower state flags on buildings of state and private ownership. On July 3, any entertainment events are prohibited in the city, he noted.
