"The information about the occupation of Illinka and the alleged presence of Russian troops in the city of Kupyansk is not true," emphasized in the Armed Forces of Ukraine's StratCom on Telegram.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces StratCom reminded that, as reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, yesterday Ukrainian soldiers stopped the enemy's advance on Kupyansk, destroyed all its armored vehicles and eliminated a significant part of its manpower.
"Kupyansk is fully under the control of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. Illinka in Donetsk Oblast is also under Ukrainian control. There are constant battles with the enemy on its outskirts, but our units are holding their positions firmly. Please check the information carefully and trust only official sources," the Ukrainian Armed Forces StratCom emphasized.
