Social activist and linguist Iryna Farion, who was assassinated in Lviv, is in intensive care, her condition is serious, UNN reports with reference to Suspilne.
"St. Panteleimon's Hospital ... reported that at about 20:00 they admitted a woman with a gunshot wound. She is currently in intensive care, her condition is serious," the statement said.

According to the National Police, the assassination attempt took place today around 19:30 on a street in Lviv. An unknown person fired a gunshot at a 60-year-old woman. Doctors hospitalized the victim with a head wound.
Investigators, operatives, and the leadership of the Lviv regional police are working at the scene. Measures are being taken to identify and detain the shooter, law enforcement officials added.
Although the National Police does not name the public figure, a deputy of the Lviv City Council previously reported an attempt on the life of linguist Iryna Farion.
