Ozon’s warehouse complex in the city of Chapayevsk, Samara Region, Russia, caught fire overnight on August 22 after a drone attack. ASTRA reported this following an OSINT analysis, UNN writes.

This night, the authorities of the Samara Region declared a UAV danger alert. Eyewitnesses reported that Russian air defenses were operating and published footage of a large-scale fire.
Based on eyewitness photographs, ASTRA’s OSINT analysis established that the fire occurred at Ozon’s distribution complex at 3 Industrialna Street, Chapayevsk, on the territory of the Chapayevsk industrial park. ASTRA suggests that the nature of the damage may indicate a drone strike rather than a missile strike.
Defense industry enterprises are located nearby
Approximately one kilometer from the Ozon complex are two defense industry enterprises — PJSC Promsynthez and PJSC Polymer.
Promsynthez produces industrial explosives, including TNT and ammonites, as well as nitrobenzene. Polymer manufactures weapons, ammunition, and explosives for defense needs.
According to ASTRA, both enterprises had previously been struck by Ukrainian missiles and drones.
