In photos from eyewitnesses, smoke is recorded in Yaroslavl after a drone threat was declared. As established by OSINT analyst ASTRA, the smoke rises above the site of the refinery of PJSC "Slavneft-YANOS".
Officially, no hits on any enterprise in the region have been reported, as stated. The governor of the Yaroslavl region, Mikhail Yevrayev, only reported that the region is under attack by Ukrainian UAVs. At the same time, he reported the closure of road traffic in the area of the refinery. Later, Yevrayev reported that traffic had been restored.
The refinery of PJSC "Slavneft-YANOS" (Novo-Yaroslavl Oil Refinery) processes an average of about 15 million tons of oil per year and is among the five largest Russian refineries. The plant is the main refining asset of the vertically integrated company PJSC "NGK "Slavneft"", 99.7% of whose shares are controlled on a parity basis by companies PJSC "NK "Rosneft"" and PJSC "Gazprom".
Drones have repeatedly attacked this plant before. As a result of the attack on Yaroslavl on the night of May 8, a fire occurred at the refinery. The refinery was attacked again on May 22.
It is also reported that the Luga training ground and the port of Ust-Luga were attacked by UAVs in the Leningrad region of Russia. This was reported by the governor of the region, Alexander Drozdenko. According to him, 56 UAVs were shot down. There is damage to infrastructure facilities at the Luga training ground, in the areas of the ports of Ust-Luga and Vysotsk.

In recent months, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have been systematically striking Russian oil refining facilities. Such enterprises are an important component of the Russian military-industrial complex, as they ensure the production of fuel for aviation, armored vehicles, and other units of the Russian troops.
In June, the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out more than 20 long-range strikes on targets in Russia, including seven oil refineries, two oil depots, a shadow fleet tanker, two ports, and two space communication centers. One such attack occurred on the night of June 18. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed strikes on the Moscow refinery and targets in the Rostov region. He thanked the military of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for operations deep in Russian territory using modernized FP-1 drones and stated that "the plan of long-range sanctions is being implemented," details of the president's statement.
Footage appeared online of Ukrainian FP-1 drones over the Russian capital, which, according to reports, the Pantsir air defense system tried to shoot down. This is the second strike on the Moscow refinery.
Earlier, on June 16, drone attacks on oil facilities were recorded in the Moscow region and Krasnodar Krai of Russia, drone strikes on Russian oil facilities. Videos of the flight of FP-1 strike drones over Moscow were also published online.
Analysts note that the struck refinery is located approximately 15 kilometers from the Kremlin. After the attacks, the enterprise, according to estimates, may be out of operation for at least six months.
