A road traffic accident involving an SUV occurred in the Voznesensk district of the Mykolaiv region. Six people, including children, were injured as a result of the crash. This was reported by the Mykolaiv Regional Police, according to UNN.

According to the Mykolaiv Regional Police, the accident occurred on May 31 at approximately 12:50 PM in the village of Voronivka, Voznesensk district.
According to preliminary data, a 19-year-old young man was behind the wheel of a Mitsubishi Pajero Sport. He lost control of the vehicle, after which the car drove off a bridge and fell into the water.
As a result of the traffic accident, the passengers in the car — five children aged 9, 11, 12, and 15, a 40-year-old man, and the suspected driver — were transported to a medical facility for examination with bodily injuries of varying degrees of severity
Law enforcement officers are currently establishing all the circumstances and causes of the accident.
Investigators have preliminarily qualified the event under Part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — violation of road safety rules or operation of transport by persons driving vehicles. The sanction of the article provides for up to three years of restriction of liberty.
