A fatal traffic accident involving an official car and a truck occurred in the Mykolaiv region. As a result of the accident, a police officer and a man with the status of "AWOL" who was being transported to a court hearing died. Two other law enforcement officers were injured. According to available data, the accident occurred today around 5 a.m. in Olhopol, Voznesensk district. Law enforcement officers established that a Renault Duster collided with a truck that was stationary within the roadway.
As a result of the incident, a 44-year-old police officer from Kherson died. His colleagues, aged 48 and 20, sustained injuries of varying severity. Also, a 49-year-old man with the status of "AWOL", whom law enforcement officers were transporting to a hearing by court decision, died from his injuries at the scene
Currently, law enforcement officers are investigating the details of the incident.
