Details
Work is ongoing in Marhanets to connect the city to an alternative water supply source. Specialists are working continuously to provide residents with water as quickly as possible.
Currently, 7 teams of welders from Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Kamianske and Zaporizhzhia are engaged at the site. The workers have been provided with the necessary materials and equipment and are also working with the involvement of around two dozen pieces of equipment.
All preparatory construction work has already been completed, and the installation of a new pipeline section has begun. This is a temporary solution intended to restore the centralized supply of water to residents’ homes and social infrastructure facilities.
At the same time, repairs are ongoing on the pumping equipment of the main water pipeline, which is managed by the Regional Office of Water Resources of the State Water Resources Agency. It was precisely the malfunction of this equipment that left residents of Marhanets and the surrounding communities without water supplies.
The state institution is being provided with the necessary assistance to carry out the repair work.
