As a result of Russian attacks on July 2, there are new power outages in Kyiv, Donetsk, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia regions. The situation is also difficult in Sumy region — there, the largest number of consumers are without power. This is reported by UNN citing Ukrenergo.

Also, due to severe weather conditions (thunderstorms, wind gusts), about 70 settlements in four regions — Zakarpattia, Lviv, Chernihiv, and Kyiv — are fully or partially without power.
Given the consequences of enemy attacks, as well as weather conditions, energy workers recommend using powerful electrical appliances from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This is the period of the most efficient operation of industrial solar power plants, Ukrenergo noted.
In the evening hours, from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., there will be an acute need for economical energy consumption. Please limit the use of powerful appliances during this time. Rational energy consumption reduces the likelihood of forced restrictions
Energy workers also warned that the situation in the power system may change. Ukrainians are advised to follow messages on the websites and official social media pages of the relevant distribution system operator (oblenergo).
