According to law enforcement, the police recently received a call about a theft in the Darnytskyi district. The caller said he saw through the window that an unknown person had stolen a generator from a store.
After inspecting the surrounding area, the police found the suspected attacker. He tried to escape, but law enforcement officers caught up with him and detained him.
To further clarify all the circumstances, an investigative team was called to the scene, the patrol police added.
