"Investigators of the capital's police announced suspicion to a man who robbed a woman on a date," law enforcement officers reported.
According to the police, "a Kyiv resident met a man on a social network and later invited him to her home."
While in the apartment, the guest, as noted, "suddenly began to threaten the woman with assault and demand money." "Subsequently, the man took $5200 from the victim's wallet and fled the apartment," the police said.
Law enforcement officers established that a 32-year-old local resident was involved in the crime. For robbery committed under martial law, the offender faces up to 10 years in prison.
