Ukrainian troops continue to hold the bridgehead near Krynok, Kherson region, despite extremely difficult conditions and amid Russian attempts to attack without armored vehicles.

Defense forces continue to hold the bridgehead in the Krynok area on the left bank of the Kherson region. The Ukrainian military are working in extremely difficult conditions, but they are managing to hold their positions and work to expand the bridgehead. This was reported by the head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine Natalia Humenyuk during a telethon, UNN reports.

We continue to hold the bridgehead. Our units are working in extremely difficult conditions,  manages to hold their positions and work on expanding the bridgehead, despite the fact that the enemy does not give up his attempts to attack, although they are unsuccessful and without the support of armored vehicles

- Humenyuk said when asked about the situation near Krynky.

According to her, the enemy managed to make one assault without armored vehicles, i.e. a purely foot assault, and again suffered heavy losses.

Humenyuk noted that there are signs that the occupiers need another rotation, which they conduct so that people arriving at the line of contact are unaware of the situation and more or less normally agree to actually die, since such assault actions for them are actually minus 70% of the personnel.

Addendum

Earlier, Humenyuk reportedthat the Russian army does not stop trying to storm the left bank of the Dnipro, even when it lacks resources. The enemy suffered the most losses around Krynky.
