The condition of the new road surface on the road between Berestovets and Komarivka in Chernihiv Oblast, which was recently repaired at the request of local residents, will depend on how well large vehicles comply with the weight regime. This was reported by Alina Kolomiyets, a spokeswoman for the Service for Infrastructure Restoration and Development in Chernihiv Oblast, in a commentary to UNN.

The spokesperson clarified that emergency repairs were carried out, which have no clear limits of warranty obligations. Therefore, how long the road will last will depend on how it is used. In particular, by agricultural holdings.
"Emergency repairs have been carried out on the section from the intersection with the M-02 Kipti - Hlukhiv - Bachivsk highway to the village of Berestovets.
The works were carried out as part of operational maintenance. In particular, patching of individual potholes, and in some areas - a continuous layer of pavement using recycled road construction materials. Three bridges were repaired.

The State Agency for Infrastructure Restoration and Development cited uncontrolled movement of large heavy vehicles as one of the reasons for the destruction of the road between Komarivka and Berestovets.
