Knauf Ukraine has not yet commented on the journalistic investigation into the use of its products for construction in occupied Mariupol, UNN reports.
"We understand what you are talking about... Make an inquiry or call us tomorrow," Knauf Ukraine told a journalist of UNN.

At least two companies from Germany - Knauf and WKB Systems - are supplying construction materials for use in Mariupol, according to an investigation by the Monitor program of the German TV channel ARD.

As stated on the company's official website, Knauf is a manufacturer of building materials specializing in the production of gypsum plasterboards, metal profiles, gypsum partitions and other materials for interior decoration.
The company's active operations in the Ukrainian market began in August 1996 with the establishment of a subsidiary, Knauf Marketing, and a joint venture, Stroymak, in 1997 on the basis of the Kyiv Building Materials Plant.
In addition, in 2008, the Knauf Gypsum Donbass gypsum tongue-and-groove slabs plant was opened in Soledar, which is now occupied.
