ARMA officers are inspecting the premises of the Gulliver business center in Kyiv to transfer them to the agency's management by court order. Gulliver representatives consider this decision illegal and plan to appeal it.

Employees of the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) are inspecting office space in the Gulliver Business Center, which is to be transferred to the agency by court order. This was reported by the head of the ARMA Olena Duma, UNN reports.

"Given that the Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kyiv transferred a shopping and office center with public facilities and a parking lot, the total area of which is almost 152 thousand square meters, to the National Agency, a thorough and high-quality inspection of such an object requires a long time.  So far, the three lower floors of the parking lot and the shopping center have been inspected," Duma wrote on her twitter account.

According to her, today ARMA employees, together with the National Police of Ukraine, are inspecting the office premises.

Olena Duma also posted a video showing ARMA officers conducting a "thorough and high-quality inspection" of Gulliver's premises. The video shows a group of men walking from one office to another and admiring the view from the window of the capital's complex.

At the same time, in a comment to UNN, the Gulliver BFC reportedthat despite the fact that ARMA representatives came without warning and without the appropriate authority to access the premises, they were not obstructed in their stay in the common areas of the mall. In addition, in order to avoid conflict and negative information, they were allowed to enter some premises that are not currently in use, and therefore, such a visit did not interfere with the economic activities of any person.

"At the same time, it is difficult to call this process an inspection of the premises for any further purpose. It is worth noting that we consider the court's decision to transfer Gulliver to the management of ARMA to be a gross violation of procedural and substantive law and actually means a business takeover with the assistance of law enforcement and security agencies... We will continue to defend our position in the legal field and will not allow any illegal actions by ARMA or law enforcement agencies," said Gulliver representatives.

In early June, the Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kyiv granted the Prosecutor General's Office's motion and allowed the transfer of the Gulliver complex to the ARMA. However, representatives of Gulliver consider this decision to be a business seizure and are arguing in court that it is groundless and illegal.
