In the new film from James Gunn and DC Studios, Superman, as always, will withstand a powerful enemy blow and fight back. However, the new trailer is much longer than the previous announcement, and focuses on the main character's team - those characters who help the Man of Steel do good, UNN informs.
Details
During the presentation at this year's CinemaCon, Warner Bros. shared an extended review of "Superman-2025". The trailer tells about a very serious injury to Superman (David Corensweet), who begs his dog Krypto to drag him home, as he can no longer move.
Despite being a comedy, fans will be hurt to see Superman's body crumble as if most of his bones are broken. Then Krypto drags his master to the Fortress of Solitude, where a team of robot medics in robes are already ready for the complex process of resuscitating the hero. Along with an impressive shot of robots concentrating sunlight to heal Superman, the trailer also features longer shots of Lois Lane (Rachel Brosnahan), Lex Luthor (Nicholas Hoult), Hawkgirl (Isabela Merced), Mr. Wonderful (Edi Gathegi), Metamorpho (Anthony Carrigan) and Guy Gardner (Nathan Fillion).
The post with the new trailer appeared on the director's social networks on March 4.
Gunn wrote a short comment about the trailer: "Appreciate this look at "Superman", which flies to theaters on July 11."
Gunn is obviously betting on sincere fans of the bizarre world of superheroes, and the author hopes that it will pay off.
Reminder
Robert Downey Jr. last year stated that he will no longer play Iron Man and will return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
