The Cabinet of Ministers has adopted a resolution that will allow the purchase of drones made in Ukraine through the closed Prozorro functionality. Previously, only foreign-made drones could be purchased through Prozorro. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Ministry of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, UNN reports.

According to Fedorov, the government's decision is a logical step in developing transparency and increasing the efficiency of drone procurement. According to him, manufacturers will have equal access to government contracts, and thanks to competition, the state will be able to purchase drones more profitably.
"For manufacturers, this is an opportunity to develop more actively, create jobs and scale up production tenfold," the head of the Ministry of Digital Transformation believes.
Fedorov also assured that all sensitive information would be closed to the public and inaccessible to Russians.
In February, the government for the first time allowed the purchase of drones through the closed functionality of Prozorro. At that time, it concerned mass-produced drones from foreign manufacturers such as Mavic, Autel, and Matric.
