Today, 54 battles have already taken place at the front, the enemy has increased aviation activity near the border of Sumy region, almost a third of enemy attacks took place in the Pokrovsk direction, in the Orikhiv direction the occupiers fired with NARs - more than 50 missiles were fired, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in a summary as of August 7 at 4 p.m., UNN reports.
Russian invaders continue to storm the positions of Ukrainian defenders. A total of 54 combat engagements took place today. The current day is characterized by increased activity of enemy aircraft near the border areas of Sumy region - the enemy has already dropped about thirty guided bombs. In particular, they hit the areas of Bilovody, Kiyanitsa, Zhuravka and a number of other villages and towns
Also, as indicated, border settlements in the north of Ukraine continue to suffer from cynical shelling from the territory of the Russian Federation. Among them are Bachevsk, Tovstodubove, Kucherivka, Nova Huta, Romashkove and Pokrovka.

In the Kharkiv sector, the Russians launched two attacks on the defensive lines of our units near Tykhyi and near Vovchansk. The battle continues.
In the Kupyansk sector, the enemy conducted two unsuccessful assaults near Petropavlivka and in the direction of Novooosynove.
In the Lyman direction, the invading army attacked eleven times. Four of them are currently ongoing in the Nevske area and in the Serebryansky forest. The situation is under control.
In the Siversk sector, the enemy tried to advance four times in the areas of Verkhnekamianske and Pereyizne during the day. Our troops repelled three attacks, another firefight is ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the invaders, supported by army aviation, made one unsuccessful assault near Chasovyi Yar. Another battle is still ongoing.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy attacked seven times in the areas of Toretsk, Pivnichne and New York. Two firefights are ongoing. The enemy bombed Toretsk six times and hit twice with NARs, in New York and Kurdyumivka.
In the Pokrovske sector, since the beginning of the day, the occupants have carried out assault operations in the areas of Panteleymonivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Novooleksandrivka, Hrodivka, Zhelanne, Novozhelanne and Yasnobrodivka. The defense forces are holding back the attack and repelled eight attacks, while nine more clashes are still ongoing. The enemy's losses are being clarified.
In the Kurakhove sector, the enemy attacked four times near Paraskoviivka and Kostiantynivka. They attacked with unguided aerial missiles. The fighting continues.
On the Vremivsky direction, the invaders tried to break through the Ukrainian defense twice - unsuccessfully attacking from Volodymyrivka.
The occupants did not conduct any active offensive actions in the Orikhiv direction. However, they fired at the areas of Lobkove, Pyatikhatky and Novoandriivka with NARs, launching more than fifty missiles.
Prydniprovskyi sector - one enemy attack was repelled.
