French energy company EDF has revised its expectations for electricity production next year, increasing the forecast by 5%. This is reported by NNEGC Energoatom, UNN reports.

Now the company plans to generate 358-364 TWh thanks to the operation of all 56 of its reactors.
The new Flamanville-3 unit with a capacity of 1600 MW will soon be connected to the French power system. This will be an additional step in strengthening the country's nuclear sector.
Increased production at nuclear facilities will help reduce the use of fossil fuels, in particular gas and coal, which is important in the context of global energy transformation.
