Today, in the second quarterfinal of Euro 2024, the French national team defeated Portugal in a penalty shootout after the match ended in a goalless draw in regular and extra time.
In the penalty shootout, the French players converted all of their 11-meter shots, sending the balls into Diogo Costa's goal. Among the Portuguese, only João Felix failed to score when his shot hit the goal post. The final score in the penalty shootout was 5-3 in favor of France.
