Fragments of a drone resembling a "Geran-2" were discovered in Moldova. The police reported this on the evening of August 5, emphasizing that the fragments had been sent for examination, UNN reports, citing NewsMaker.

Fragments of a drone were found near the village of Velenka in the Cahul district.

Following a preliminary examination of the discovered fragments, their structural characteristics, the materials used, as well as the identified markings, experts determined that it was a "Geran-2"-type drone.

All the fragments will be sent for examination.

Specialists from the police's explosives and technology division are continuing the investigation to establish all the circumstances of the incident.
