Details

The Museum in Tampere has announcedthat it will cease operations as of today. In February 2025, a museum of political history will be opened in its place, with an exposition dedicated to relations between Russia and Finland.

The director of the Lenin Museum, Kalle Kallio, spoke about his plans to close the museum back in April. "The former name no longer corresponds to the content of our exhibition, misleads visitors and causes misunderstandings," he explained.
