According to the investigation, on December 1, 2024, the driver exceeded the speed limit and collided with a Ford car. As a result of the accident, a 10-year-old passenger of the Ford was killed, and other passengers, including children, and the driver received injuries of varying severity and were hospitalized.
Law enforcement officers detained the driver of the BMW in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. Now the issue of choosing a preventive measure in the form of detention is being considered.
The pre-trial investigation is conducted by the Investigative Department of the State Unitary Enterprise in the Dnipropetrovsk region under the procedural guidance of juvenile prosecutors of the regional prosecutor's office.
