The President of Ukraine called on Europe to create legal instruments for confiscating and selling oil from Russia's shadow fleet. He stressed that this would cut off Russia's funding for the war.

Europe must have legal instruments to confiscate and sell oil transported by the shadow fleet. The shadow fleet must not be allowed to finance Russia's war. This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, addressing participants of the 33rd annual session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, reports UNN.

The President of Ukraine called for not reducing sanctions pressure and for imposing new sanctions so that Russia has fewer ways to adapt to this war and is forced to move toward negotiations.

And it is especially important to put pressure on Russia's oil sector. It simply cannot survive without free access of its oil to European seas. This is a critical route. If it is blocked, Russia will lose the ability to finance this war
