European Council President Charles Michel said that the European Union will keep its promise to supply Ukraine with one million rounds of ammunition, but admitted that "it will take a little longer than we would like." He said this on France Inter on Wednesday, UNN reports.

"We will keep our promise" to supply Ukraine with one million rounds of ammunition, assured the head of the European Council.

However, Michel admitted that "it will take a little longer than we would like".

"Undoubtedly, a few extra months are needed," he admitted, before adding that "everything must be done to reach the goal" of one million in 2024.
