On November 13-15, the third preparatory meeting on the establishment of an international Commission for the Review of Applications for Ukraine was held in The Hague, where the Ukrainian delegation presented its position on the future Commission, UNN reports with reference to the OP.

Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Iryna Mudra opened the meeting online and urged the participants to speed up the work on the creation of the Commission.
"I express my gratitude to those countries that have shared our long journey from the very beginning. The Register of Losses now includes 43 states and the EU. At the same time, I am also deeply grateful to the 12 new countries that have now joined our efforts in preparatory meetings, standing side by side with us in our fight for justice," she said.
The meeting discussed, among other things, the analysis of the experience of previous compensation commissions and possible options for establishing a Commission for Reviewing Applications for Ukraine, as well as the second version of the draft constituent document of the Commission.
"The discussions and conclusions of this meeting are another important step towards the creation of a comprehensive mechanism for reviewing claims for compensation related to the aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine," summarized Iryna Mudra.

The first preparatory meeting was held this year in July, the second in September. The fourth is scheduled for January 2025. It is after this meeting that official negotiations on an international treaty on the establishment of the Commission for the Review of Applications should begin.
