The High Anti-Corruption Court has imposed a pre-trial restraint on another suspect in the case of misappropriation of UAH 62 million of the State Special Communications Service, the SAPO said on Tuesday, UNN reports.

On November 28, 2023, at the request of the SAPO prosecutor, the HACC investigating judge imposed a preventive measure on the former director of a state-owned enterprise subordinated to the State Special Communications Service, who is a suspect in the case of misappropriation of public funds in the amount of more than UAH 62 million during the purchase of information technology tools intended to create a system of secure data registers.
The court partially granted the motion of the NABU detectives, agreed upon by the SAPO prosecutor, and imposed a bail of UAH 30 million on the suspect. The court also imposed the relevant procedural obligations on the person,
