Notably, in all six games, Svitolina and Bartunkova converted break points. After that, Svitolina seized the initiative and ultimately ended the match with a victory - 6:3.
Ultimately, Svitolina managed to break through to the 1/4 finals of the tournament, where she will meet the winner of the pair Karolina Pliskova (Czech Republic) - Elena Rybakina (Kazakhstan).
