HBO's Dune prequel now has a premiere date - or at least a month. The upcoming show, titled "Dune: The Prophecy" will be released on HBO and Max in November, UNN reports citing The Verge.

The series has also received a fresh teaser, which gives the impression that the six-episode show will be full of many political maneuvers.
This is of great importance, given that The Prophecy tells the story of the origins of the secretive Bene Gesserit sect, which later formed most of the galaxy in the Dune universe.
The series is set 10,000 years before Dune and its sequel. HBO reports that the series is "inspired" by the 2012 novel Dune Sisterhood, written by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson.
Alison Schapker, best known for her work on such shows as Survivor, Fringe, and Spy, serves as showrunner, and the cast includes Emily Watson and Olivia Williams as the two Harkonnen sisters who invented Bene Gesserit.
