On the night of June 2, drones attacked the Ilsky Oil Refinery in the Krasnodar Krai of Russia. Local residents reported a series of explosions and a fire on the premises of the enterprise. This was reported by ASTRA, according to UNN.

A video published by eyewitnesses captured the moment a drone struck the refinery's territory. ASTRA analysts geolocated the footage and established that the filming was conducted at a distance of about 3.5-4 kilometers from the enterprise. Later, the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Krai confirmed the information about the attack and the fire.
The Ilsky Refinery is one of the largest oil refining enterprises in the Southern Federal District of the Russian Federation. Its design capacity is approximately 6.6 million tons of oil per year. The plant plays an important role in supplying fuel to the southern regions of Russia.
According to ASTRA's calculations, the current attack is at least the 16th strike on the Ilsky Refinery since the beginning of the full-scale war. Information regarding the extent of the damage and the potential impact on the enterprise's operations is currently being clarified.
