The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has served a notice of suspicion in absentia to Yuri Trutnev, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation. Investigators believe he is involved in providing Russian troops with weapons, drones, and electronic warfare systems, as well as publicly supporting the armed aggression against Ukraine. This was reported by the SBU, according to UNN.

The Security Service has documented the crimes of the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government – Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District – Yuri Trutnev. He is involved in the ideological support, financing, and logistical provision of the rashists' full-scale war against Ukraine,

- the statement reads.

As the investigation established, the sanctioned official periodically visits frontline areas to deliver weapons, ammunition, and equipment to the Russian occupation groups.

In just one episode of his "working trips" to the temporarily occupied part of the Donetsk region in 2025, the official handed over nearly four hundred units of sniper systems and drones to the militants.

Trutnev also presented electronic warfare systems to the command of the armed groups of the Southern Military District of the Russian Federation.

Each such trip by the Russian official is accompanied by extensive information support from Kremlin propagandists.

During the preparation of relevant reports, the suspect repeatedly stated on camera to Putin's media pool his support for the Russian Federation's armed aggression against Ukraine and justified the rashists' war crimes.

Based on the collected evidence, Security Service investigators have notified Trutnev of suspicion in absentia under Part 5 of Art. 27 and Part 2 of Art. 437 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (aiding in the conduct of an aggressive war).

Comprehensive measures are underway to place the perpetrator on the international wanted list. He faces life imprisonment.
