A court in Wrocław has applied a preventive measure in the form of temporary arrest for three months to both suspects in the beating of a Ukrainian couple. This was reported by the Municipal Police of Wrocław, according to UNN.
Police officers from Wrocław, with the support of employees and officers of the anti-terrorist unit of the Lower Silesian Regional Directorate, detained last Monday two men aged 27 and 45, suspected of involvement in a brutal beating that occurred on July 26 this year in Wrocław on Okulickiego Street. One of the detentions took place during operational actions when the suspect tried to leave Wrocław and thus avoid responsibility. Today, by court decision, the detained men were placed in custody. Police continue intensive measures aimed at detaining the third participant in the crime and clarifying all circumstances of this scandalous incident
It is reported that the court, having reviewed the evidence collected by the police and the prosecutor, applied a preventive measure in the form of temporary arrest for three months to both suspects. The charges brought against the suspects relate to violence on ethnic grounds, beating, and causing bodily harm, and the nature of the act is classified as hooliganism.
It is noted that these men have previously appeared multiple times in police records for various offenses.
